A life time of experience goes into our products. G & A Flying Colors, Inc. has been In business since 1995. Tony Loera, President of G & A Flying Colors, Inc., has been in the kite making and related businesses for 32 years. He has dealers all over the United States and and sells both retail and wholesale. Fred Patterson at Kansas Winds has been working with computers for over 30 years. He has a degree in Business Administration and another in Computer Information Systems. He and his wife, Trini are RVer's, and they just love all kinds of "critters" that blow in the wind. Their desire to share these "critters" with others who love beautiful things and times, brought Tony and Fred together to develop this site. Fred's retail
side of this business has continued to grow.
These past few years have been a time of growth and change for Kansas Winds, and G & A Flying Colors, Inc. Several changes were implemented that will make our products more competitive and desirable to a larger portion of the population.
Web Site
First, our Web site, " www.kansaswinds.com" is going well and you may purchase retail items on the Internet with credit cards. We are expanding the products available on this site so that we can offer the same items on the Internet that have made our retail outlet so successful. This site is a business venture of Kansas Winds, and G&A Flying Colors, Inc.
Custom Colors
To expand our customer base, we have developed the concept of "Custom Colors". This originated from 9/11/01 when everyone wanted "Red, White and Blue" to show support for our country. Custom Colors that are "Striking similar to your favorite team" were next. Friends of ours, Robert and Phyllis Ward had just attended an NFL game that featured our favorite team. We were looking at all of our "critters" that blow in the wind, when Bob said, "If these were in our teams colors, I would buy one of everything." So why not, I thought. We contacted Tony Loera, President of G & A Flying Colors, Inc., and presented this concept to him. He was as excited about the plan as we were. This concept has really been a success.
Made in the USA
To provide the best customer service possible and to be able to react to a changing market, Tony has moved his manufacturing operations from Mexico to the United States. This will enable us to to provide the best possible customer service and to develop new products that will keep our Companies growing in the future.
