What is our return or exchange policy?
Kansas Winds values your business. All products purchased from us may be exchanged or returned for a refund if they are in a new and unused working condition within thirty days of the shipping date. All products for which you are requesting a return or exchange must have all the accessories and be in its original packing.

Once you have flown the "critter" or removed it from it's original packing,  it is no longer considered a new whirligig. Exceptions may be made to our return policy, depending on individual circumstances. A 20% restocking fee may apply in such instances.

To arrange a return, you should first contact our support department at
sales@kansaswinds.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Please include order #, product model number and reason for the return. Within 2 business days from the time of receipt of your e-mail, you will be contacted and given a RMA#. You may then pack up your merchandise, including the original product packaging and original product accessories and ship it back to the address you are given with the RMA #. Exchanges or refunds returned to us without the proper RMA# will not be processed and will be returned to the sender. Please write the RMA # on the outside of the package.

All returns must be shipped to us prepaid. If a product was shipped to you in error or is defective, Kansas Winds will also refund your return shipping cost. Kansas Winds is not responsible for returned items that are lost, damaged or delayed in return shipment. Therefore, we recommend that you insure your package for its full value and ship it using a traceable method. Keep this tracking information for your records until verification is given that the returned item has been received by us.

Refunds will be issued using the same method as the original payment. Shipping charges are nonrefundable unless the item is defective

Kansas Winds reserves the right to refuse any exchanges or refunds that are returned used or without the original product accessories or product packaging. KansasWinds.com will also accept exchanges or requests for store credit on gifts.

How do I care for my Kansas Winds products? We recommend that you use a silicone spray or oil on all turning points or swivels. Glue all end caps on windmills or pinwheels. Glue the rods into the pockets of the airplanes. Our products are manufactured with care and are exceptionally strong but are light and therefore they are subject to damage by excessive winds. Be a responsible owner and bring them indoors during strong winds or severe weather. We can not be responsible for damage to our whirligigs or other property cause by strong winds. Return to top.

Are my Products guaranteed? We guarantee our products to free from defects from manufacturing for 30 days from the time they are shipped. We will replace any defective items returned to us that are postage paid. We will then pay the postage to replace your item. Read the return and exchange policy above. Return to top.

My swivel wore out, now what? We will replace swivels or small parts free at anytime. Just describe completely the broken part, what it goes to and send its complete measurements along with $2.00 for shipping and handling to: Kansas Winds, 211 W. 27th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. 67502.

How long until I received my products? Most normal items (red white and blue, plus rainbow) are in stock we will ship in two business days. On rare occasions we may have to manufacture the item and it should be shipped in 7 to 10 days. Your credit card will not be charged until we ship the items. Return to top.
